According to the objectives proposed by the Sustainable Development Department of Mexico in the United Nations, it is estimated that by 2018, 25% of the energy consumed by the country will come from renewable resources.

Solar energy is one of the most prevalent sources of renewable energy. Capitalizing sun as a source of clean, economic and indefinite energy, allows Mexico to promote a sustainable option for its growing industries.

In Maiz Transforma, we are proud to participate in the transition process to sustainable energy use by promoting solar power. We are currently participating in the construction of a solar farm in Mexicali, Baja California with Sun Power, an industry leader in solar panels. This experience will enable us to collaborate in future projects with similar companies providing a much needed service to our environment.
